Inter Fight Back from 2-0 Down to Beat Napoli 3-2

Inter Milan produced a stunning comeback at San Siro, recovering from two goals down to beat Napoli 3-2 in a dramatic Serie A clash. Lautaro Martinez was the hero for the defending champions, scoring twice to complete an unforgettable turnaround.

With the match heading toward a draw, Inter launched one final attack in stoppage time. A corner eventually saw the ball fall outside Napoli's box before Nicolo Barella and Curtis Jones helped move it back into the area. Marcus Thuram could not connect with the cross, while Napoli failed to clear the danger.

Manuel Akanji then helped keep the move alive, and the ball fell perfectly for Martinez. The Argentine forward made no mistake, firing into the far corner in the 91st minute to complete Inter's remarkable comeback.

The final whistle sparked wild celebrations at San Siro as Inter secured a 3-2 victory after trailing by two goals.

The result gives Inter a perfect nine points from their opening three matches and sends them to the top of the Serie A table. Napoli, meanwhile, have suffered two defeats in their first three games and remain on three points in 13th place.

For Inter, it was far more than just another three points. Coming back from 2-0 down against last season's runners-up could prove to be a major boost to their confidence as they look to defend their Serie A title.
