After staying away from social media for years, Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence has officially joined Instagram. The ‘The Hunger Games’ actress made her debut on the platform with a verified account and a humorous bio that immediately caught fans’ attention.

Since the Instagram handle using her full name was already taken, Lawrence chose a different username for her official account. In her bio, she jokingly wrote, “Jennifer Lawrence already taken.”

Lawrence’s team confirmed that the account belongs to the actress, while Instagram also verified the profile with a blue checkmark. Shortly after the account went live, her follower count crossed 173,000.

After joining Instagram, Lawrence quickly followed several high-profile celebrities and filmmakers, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Dakota Johnson, Martin Scorsese and her ‘The Hunger Games’ co-star Josh Hutcherson.
