A source familiar with the case told Le Parisien that an analysis of the seized phone messages and data revealed a plot to attack Mbappe and a rapper.

A judicial source also confirmed that Real Madrid's French star Mbappe was one of the important names on the list. The list also included a rapper, a jewelry dealer, a Turkish meat merchant and a Chinese millionaire businessman, among other wealthy individuals.

The incident began with an investigation into a robbery at a luxury watch store in the Neuilly-sur-Seine area of ​​France. The police identified the young man as one of the suspects in the attack. He was later arrested and his mobile phone was seized. The alleged plan for the kidnapping and attack came to light when the phone data was analyzed.

However, during interrogation, the accused young man denied being the mastermind of the ring. The court ordered him to be kept in solitary confinement until the investigation is completed.
