Real Madrid Open to Vinicius Exit

A few days ago, it was widely believed that Real Madrid were eager to extend Vinicius Junior’s contract. The Brazilian star is considered one of the club’s most valuable assets, not only for his performances on the pitch but also for his commercial appeal. However, the situation now appears to have taken a different turn.

According to ESPN, sources close to the negotiations say Real Madrid are willing to let Vinicius leave if no agreement is reached over a new deal. The club is not prepared to improve its latest offer.

Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Real have already informed the player’s representatives that their current proposal is final and that they do not intend to reopen negotiations.

If Vinicius accepts the offer, his contract will be extended. If not, the club could make it easier for him to leave during the current summer transfer window. Real’s main concern is avoiding a situation in which the winger enters the final year of his contract and later departs on a free transfer.

Uncertainty over Vinicius’ future at Real Madrid is not new. Talks between the two sides began shortly after the 2024 Copa America, but no breakthrough has been achieved so far. His current contract runs until mid-2027.

Brazilian outlet Globo claims that the main disagreement is over the signing bonus. Salary is reportedly not a major issue, but the size of the bonus has become the key sticking point.
