According to reports published on October 21, he died the previous day at his home in Florida—information relayed by his family to TMZ.
Found dead at home

A decade-long NFL career
Born on March 25, 1989, on Sapelo Island, Georgia, Bailey played college football at the University of Miami before being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
He spent the first eight seasons of his career with the Chiefs, later joining the Atlanta Falcons in 2019. He played two seasons for the Falcons before being released in 2021.
Over the course of 133 regular-season NFL games, Bailey recorded 22 sacks and 248 tackles. He was known for his ability to pressure opposing quarterbacks and for his strong presence on the defensive line.

Before entering the professional ranks, Bailey played for the University of Miami. In recognition of his performance during his collegiate career, he was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) first team in 2009 and the second team in 2010.
He did not play for any other team after leaving the NFL. His sudden passing has drawn expressions of grief from former teammates and others within the football community.
