Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has embarked on a new journey on YouTube. He has launched his official YouTube channel, titled ‘Being Salman Khan’. Through this channel, the actor intends to share insights into his acting style, body language, and dialogue delivery techniques with his fans.
Salman announced the launch of the channel last Friday (October 9). To mark the occasion, he shared the channel's link on his Instagram Stories. Addressing his fans, Salman wrote, "Let's start from the beginning. This is my official YouTube channel. You’ll find everything here—from A to Z."
Salman plays dual roles in the debut video
In one of the channel's early videos, Salman appears in two distinct roles: an acting and personality development coach and a student. As the coach, he demonstrates his signature mannerisms, dialogue delivery style, and the techniques used to create a unique screen presence.
The channel received an immediate response from fans. Its subscriber count has already surpassed 77,600. This platform offers Salman's fans a new way to connect with their favorite star beyond the realm of cinema.
Rising popularity of stars on YouTube
Several Bollywood stars had already established a connection with audiences via YouTube prior to Salman. Notable names include Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Kartik Aaryan.
Meanwhile, filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has gained popularity on YouTube by creating cooking vlogs featuring various stars. Her channel, launched in 2024, has crossed the 3.2 million subscriber mark. Cooking at the homes of various celebrities and engaging in candid conversations about their personal and professional lives are key highlights of her videos.
Salman moves to a new film after ‘Bigg Boss’
On the professional front, Salman Khan is currently hosting the 20th season of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. He will next be seen on the big screen in the film *Matrubhoomi: May We Rest in Peace*. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film features Chitrangada Singh as his co-star.
Although the film was scheduled for release in March of this year, the date has been postponed twice. A new release date has not yet been announced.
Alongside his work in acting and television, Salman has also taken steps to expand his presence on YouTube. It remains to be seen how extensively he will connect with fans through this new channel.
