Mocking celebrities over their appearance, age, or weight on social media has become an everyday occurrence. Actresses, in particular, often face a barrage of comments regarding physical changes after childbirth. Now, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has spoken out against such online trolling.

While discussing online trolling during the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of *Bigg Boss 20*, Salman questioned why a woman should be mocked for gaining weight after giving birth.

Salman, who currently hosts *Bigg Boss 20*, addressed the culture of social media trolling by citing a recent incident where YouTuber ScoutOP made comments about a contestant. He remarked that if someone earns money by insulting or belittling others, it reflects not only their mindset but also their upbringing and family values.

Salman stated that everyone should think twice before commenting on a person's appearance, weight, family, career setbacks, or personal life. He added that by earning money through putting others down, an individual actually reveals the nature of their own upbringing and education.

In this context, Salman brought up the mockery women face on social media regarding physical changes after childbirth. Although he did not mention anyone by name, many drew a connection between his remarks and the recent trolling directed at Katrina Kaif.

After photos and videos of Katrina attending a Ganesh festival event in Mumbai circulated online, she faced various comments regarding her appearance and weight. Discussions also arose concerning the physical changes experienced by the actress, who had recently become a mother.

Salman argued that there is no reason to mock a woman for gaining weight during pregnancy or after childbirth. He noted that physical changes after conceiving are natural and that fitness can be regained over time as one returns to work.

Salman also spoke about his own age and appearance. Criticizing the expectation that one should maintain the same youthful look at the age of 60, he said that a person's appearance inevitably changes with age; it is not possible to retain the same look one had during the days of the film *Maine Pyar Kiya*. Urging people to accept the aging of stars as a natural process, Salman further questioned why those dissatisfied with their own appearance are so keen to comment on the looks and weight of others.

To drive his point home during the episode, Salman removed his cap and T-shirt and called upon makeup artist Raju. He then proceeded to wipe off his own makeup. Through this gesture, the Bollywood star sought to convey the message that it is only natural for a person's appearance to change with age and the passage of time.
