Enzo Fernandez Calls Erling Haaland a ‘Beast’ After Manchester City Champions League Victory

Enzo Fernandez has been left impressed by Erling Haaland’s finishing ability after forming an instant connection with the Manchester City striker. The Argentina World Cup winner described his new teammate as a “beast” following City’s Champions League victory over Porto.

Haaland scored twice as Manchester City began their Champions League campaign with a convincing win over Porto. His first goal came in the 47th minute, when he headed home a cross from Fernandez. The Norwegian striker then completed his brace in the first minute of stoppage time with a composed right-footed finish.

Speaking about Haaland after the match, Fernandez said: “Erling Haaland is a beast. That’s why I look for him every time I’m on the pitch, so I can provide him with more assists. He is not only an incredible player but also a great person. He welcomed me and has been helping me.”

Fernandez has the opportunity to build a strong partnership with one of the most prolific strikers in world football. His ability to create chances combined with Haaland’s movement and finishing could become an important weapon for Manchester City this season.
